Violet Gitman is a licensed mental health counselor in NY, PA, DE & OK. They work with adults ranging in age from 18 onward. Violet Gitman is an eclectically trained therapist and pulls from several different modalities in order to best suit the needs of each client. Some of these approaches include psychodynamic, CBT, IFS, humanistic and DBT which combine a focus of behavioral focus as well as getting to the function of the behaviors that are causing distress. In session, Violet Gitman focuses on working collaboratively with her clients and helping them to get a better understanding of who they are and why they do the things they do through a lens of compassion and self-acceptance.
