Professional statement

Xochiltl Ramos is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples. She supports clients navigating anxiety, relational challenges, identity development, and major life transitions. Many of the individuals she works with are reflective and emotionally curious, seeking deeper insight into long-standing patterns—whether they're in a moment of disruption or pursuing long-term growth.

Her approach is depth-oriented and grounded in psychodynamic and relational principles. With warmth and attentiveness, she fosters a collaborative space where clients can safely explore their inner world, increase emotional insight, and develop more flexible and authentic ways of relating to themselves and others. Treatment is tailored to the unique history, needs, and goals of each person or couple, drawing from an integrative foundation of theoretical and clinical training.

She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and continues to deepen her work through ongoing psychoanalytic training and consultation. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she provides culturally responsive therapy that honors the complexity of identity, family history, and lived experience.

Sessions are available both in-person at her Los Angeles office and remotely for clients across California. She is currently welcoming new clients.

Message to clients

Hi, and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Starting therapy can bring up all kinds of feelings—uncertainty, hope, hesitation, or relief. I see therapy as a space where you don’t have to perform or figure things out alone. My hope is that our work together can help you feel more connected to your internal world, better able to navigate your relationships, and more resourced to move through life with clarity and self-trust.

Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach rooted in curiosity and care. I spend time getting to know how you make meaning, what matters to you, and what feels out of sync. I believe change happens in the context of a safe and consistent relationship, and I aim to offer a space that’s steady, attuned, and deeply respectful of your pace and process.
