Yarlin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with specialized training in perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. She works with individuals of all ages as well as extensively with teens and college students navigating academic stress, identity development, and life transitions.
Yarlin’s practice is grounded in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach, and she is deeply committed to creating an affirming space for BIPOC clients as they navigate systemic stress, intergenerational trauma, and personal growth.
Yarlin draws from CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish and provides telehealth services to make care accessible and flexible for your needs.

Maternal Mental Health - Defined by Postpartum Support International (PSI), encompasses the emotional well-being of individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period, recognizing that perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are common, treatable conditions that deserve compassionate, evidence-based care and support
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Adolescent mental health - Working with adolescents, teenagers, and parents on social, academic, and/or emotional challenges throughout teenage years; addressing anxiety, family conflicts, peer relationships, school stress, transition to college, social media pressures, self-esteem, hopelessness about the future, emotional disregulation
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
