Professional statement

I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor that values client-centered approaches for families in their journeys towards healing. I am here to listen, validate and support you in exploring what is causing distress for you, your child, or your family to promote a better quality of life. I have worked with children and families that come from a range of life stages, backgrounds and diagnosis- specifically anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and autism.

Throughout my career, I have had experience in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 5-18 and their caregivers during my time working in schools and in community mental health.

In my practice with children, I utilize evidence-based techniques such as play therapy, mindfulness and CBT to promote emotional well-being and stability.

In my practice with caregivers, I use a variety of approaches that are catered to your individual needs, with an eye to exploring family systems and generational patterns that may be influencing your experiences and relationships today.

I am committed to helping you, your child, or your family heal and find balance through compassionate, individualized care.
