Description
DBT Skills Training Group teaches practical skills to manage emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and stay present. Based on dialectical behavior therapy, this group supports individuals in building a life worth living through mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Each person in the group is expected to have their own individual therapist.
Group Therapist
Dr. Pace is a compassionate and dedicated clinical psychologist who supports individuals through life’s most challenging moments. With experience at McLean Hospital and in private practice, she specializes in working with mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, relationship difficulties and major life transitions.
She believes therapy works best as a team and takes a collaborative approach—working closely with clients to develop meaningful goals and treatment plans. Dr. Pace draws on evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), tailoring each approach to fit the unique needs of the individual.
At the heart of her work is a commitment to open communication and shared decision-making, helping clients feel supported and empowered as they grow.
