Description
Healing Childhood Trauma is a virtual therapy group for adults in Florida who are ready to better understand and heal the lasting effects of difficult childhood experiences. This group is designed for adults who may struggle with anxiety, shame, self-criticism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, boundary problems, or unhealthy relationship patterns connected to early life experiences. You do not need to share every detail of your past to benefit from the group.
Sessions provide a supportive, structured space that combines psychoeducation, guided discussion, reflection, and practical coping tools. Members will learn how childhood trauma can affect emotions, relationships, self-worth, and daily functioning, while building healthier ways to cope, set boundaries, and move forward. The group is interactive but pressure-free, and members are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels manageable.
A brief intake consultation is required before joining to make sure the group is a good fit. This group is not suited for those who are currently in crisis or are having active PTSD symptoms. It is a good fit for those who are seeking focused support for overcoming the lasting effect of childhood trauma.
Led by Jose H. Caraballo, LCSW, the group offers a warm, trauma-informed, therapist-led space for healing, insight, and growth.
