Group Therapist
Krista Rae is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist whose work is grounded in intuition, connection, and authenticity. She is dedicated to meeting clients exactly where they are and supporting them in uncovering their most genuine needs, desires, and internal strengths. Krista's work centers on individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges—whether in intimate partnerships, friendships, or family systems—as well as adults moving through identity shifts, life transitions, or the emotional aftermath of divorce and emotional abuse. With a strong clinical interest in adults with ADHD and neurodiverse individuals, she also offers an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients seeking clarity, support, and deeper self-understanding.
Krista brings a lifetime of rich personal and professional experience to her work. Her own extensive engagement in therapy and her previous career in education have informed her understanding of developmental needs, family systems, and relational dynamics. These experiences allow her to bring nuanced insight, warmth, and a nonpathologizing lens into the therapeutic setting.
Krista’s therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She integrates a socioculturally attuned lens, recognizing how culture, identity, and lived experience shape emotional wellbeing and relational patterns. Clients experience her as grounding and direct—someone who creates space for honest reflection while partnering with them to make meaningful changes.
As an integrative therapist, Krista tailors her work to each client’s needs. She draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed principles. This allows her to address deeper emotional roots of distress and the practical strategies that support healing, connection, and everyday functioning. Her work supports clients to understand relational patterns, reconnect with themselves, and move toward more secure, fulfilling relationships.
Krista provides individual and couples therapy across California through secure telehealth, with flexible scheduling for busy professionals, caregivers, and those managing multiple responsibilities.
