Men's Group

Description

The Men’s Group is a weekly therapy group for men who are ready to deepen their emotional lives, build authentic relationships, and challenge the cultural narratives that often limit male vulnerability and connection. Open to adult men of all backgrounds, this group is ideal for those navigating relational challenges, life transitions, stress, or a sense of isolation. Whether you're new to therapy or have years of personal work behind you, what matters most is a willingness to engage honestly and show up with curiosity and respect for others. Members must be pre-screened to join the group.

Each session blends open sharing with experiential exercises, drawing from relational and depth-oriented psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic awareness practices. Members explore core themes such as anger, intimacy, responsibility, shame, and identity—within a context of mutual support and skilled facilitation. The group is ongoing, but new members are welcomed through a brief screening and orientation process to ensure readiness and group fit. This is not a drop-in group; consistency and confidentiality are foundational to the trust we build together.

The group is led by Jim Kemp, a licensed psychologist and founder of CCC, who brings over 20 years of experience working with men in both individual and group settings. Jim’s background includes training in IFS, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychedelic-assisted therapy, as well as a deep commitment to helping men connect more fully to themselves and others. His grounded, compassionate style creates a safe space where men can move beyond isolation and performance into real, lasting growth.
