Description
Ibisanmi Relational Health’s Online Men’s Group Therapy is a 6-week virtual therapy group created for men seeking meaningful personal growth, stronger relationships, and improved emotional well-being. The group meets Thursdays from 6:30–7:30 PM, January 29 through March 5, 2026, and is facilitated by Neal Mitchell, MA, LAMFT and Joseph Myrtil, MS, LAMFT. Together, they bring over 10 years of combined clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families, with a strong focus on men’s mental health and relational wellness.
This men’s therapy group is grounded in a culturally affirming, relational framework that recognizes how race, culture, masculinity, and social expectations shape men’s emotional lives. Neal and Joseph work collaboratively with participants to address patterns of stuckness, emotional suppression, communication struggles, and relational disconnection. Through guided discussion, reflection, and experiential exercises, men are supported in developing healthier emotional expression, clearer identity and values, and more satisfying relationships across life domains.
Over six weeks, the group explores topics including male identity and core values, emotional vulnerability, communication, roles and responsibilities, and building community among men. Sessions include structured dialogue, role plays, and practical tools that participants can apply in their daily lives. The fee is $50 per session. To register for the Men’s Group Therapy, see the attached flyer.
