Tree House Sessions

Description

Tree House Sessions is a twice-monthly, nature-rooted support circle for LGBTQ+ folks and kindred spirits seeking steadier ground. I weave therapy-informed tools with soulful, down-to-earth practices so you can exhale, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of you that already know the way. Each 60-minute session blends guided teaching (think nervous system literacy, boundaries, grief tending, authenticity), a facilitated share circle, and a short intention-setting ritual. We slow down with sensory mindfulness, polyvagal-informed exercises, breath, and gentle movement; no prior experience required.

You’ll leave with one simple practice to try during the week and a community that cheers for your small, honest steps. The vibe is warm, non-judgmental, and playful. Come as you are: neurodivergent-friendly, trans affirming, kink-aware, size-inclusive, and trauma-sensitive. Cameras on or off is okay; speaking is always optional. Confidentiality and consent guide our space; we practice clear agreements, gentle pacing, and opt-in activities. Practice between sessions is always bite-sized and doable.

Tree House Sessions meets on Zoom (with seasonal outdoor gatherings in Central PA). Sliding-scale pricing and a limited number of community-care seats are available; no one turned away for asking. This group can complement individual therapy or stand alone as a supportive practice.

Ideal for adults of all identities—including questioning folks, providers, and creatives—who crave replenishment and belonging. Bring tea, a journal, and your real self. If you’re feeling scattered, burned out, or hungry for belonging, this is a place to root, breathe, and remember your natural self. You don’t have to do it alone.

Group Therapist

Titles don’t capture the whole human. I’m a clinical social worker and ecotherapist who shows up as a compassionate, active companion—curious about what truly matters to you and the possibilities you want to grow. I look at behavior within your whole system (self, relationships, work, community, culture) and we co-create workable practices that reduce suffering now and support durable change over time.

What sessions may include:

• Practical tools: communication resets, boundary work, values clarification, cognitive reframes, nervous-system skills

• Embodied/nature-based practices: breath and sensory grounding, mindful walking, forest bathing/Shinrin Yoku-inspired invitations, outdoor meditation (when appropriate)

• Gentle spiritual support: meaning-making, ritual, and intention practices—always at your pace and aligned with your beliefs
