Description
Are you and your partner feeling stuck in the same patterns, having the same conversations without resolution, or feeling disconnected despite wanting things to improve?
A 3-hour couples intensive offers a focused space to slow things down, understand what’s really happening underneath conflict, and begin making meaningful changes together.
In this extended session, we will:
Identify the patterns you get stuck in
Explore the emotions and needs beneath those patterns
Practice more effective ways of communicating and repairing
Create a clear, realistic plan for moving forward
This format is ideal for couples who feel like weekly therapy hasn’t been enough or who want more immediate momentum.

Group Therapist
At Sowa Holistic Therapy & Wellness, founded by Lori Smith, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, we provide comprehensive mental health support to individuals, couples, military personnel, and their families. Specializing in Integrated Sex and Couples Therapy and Anxiety Disorders, we help clients across the lifespan, especially during significant life transitions that may bring anxiety, depression, or self-doubt.
Our holistic approach integrates evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside mindfulness techniques. These tools help clients manage stress and emotions effectively, fostering a deeper connection between thoughts and behaviors.
We also offer the Wim Hof method, nutrition guidance, and mind-body exercises to promote mental and physical well-being. With both in-person and telehealth options, we prioritize accessible care that supports long-term healing and personal growth.
