FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Our practice offers individual therapy tailored to support clients navigating cultural identity concerns, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, and workplace or school-related stress. Using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we provide compassionate, client-centered care to help you achieve meaningful growth and balance.

In therapy, we’ll sort through difficult thoughts and feelings, clarify your goals and values, and explore coping skills for life’s uncertainties. Together, we’ll deepen self-awareness, cultivate self-assurance, embrace your identity, and create balance—empowering you to thrive authentically.

How does payment work at your practice?

At Authentic Care Counseling, we accept payment through credit or debit cards via our secure online client system. We are in-network with several insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts (commercial plans only), Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim (commercial plans only), Cigna plans, and Optum plans (including United Healthcare, Always Health Partners, and Mass General Brigham Health Plan). If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide detailed billing statements to assist you in coordinating reimbursement with your insurance company. For clients not using insurance, fees vary depending on the provider and services offered.

Why should I choose your practice?

At Authentic Care Counseling, we believe that every person deserves a space where they feel truly seen and heard.
