Practice Information

At our practice, we are a team of licensed psychologists with the highest level of training and a deep commitment to delivering personalized, evidence-based care. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and offer individual, group, and couples therapy for adults, along with specialized coaching in parenting, relationships, career development, and leadership. Our integrated, research-driven approach is grounded in building honest, trusting relationships and draws from relational, insight-oriented, and skill-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We also pay close attention to the social, cultural, and systemic factors that shape our clients' experiences and well-being.

We believe that effective therapy is built on a thoughtful blend of insight and actionable skill-building, tailored to the unique goals of each client. Our work is guided by a deep respect for human resilience and the belief that adversity can be a powerful catalyst for growth. We see every therapeutic encounter as an opportunity to help individuals reconnect with their values, foster meaningful change, and cultivate greater vitality, clarity, and life satisfaction.

Our core values—freedom, health, honesty, inclusivity, resilience, tolerance, and values-based living—are embedded in everything we do. We believe in the power of relationships to both hurt and heal, and in each person's inherent capacity to grow. Through compassionate, collaborative care, we aim to create a space where clients can feel safe, seen, and empowered to live in alignment with what matters most to them.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Aviva Psychology Services clinicians provide individual and marriage/couples therapy. We are a group practice of over 25 clinicians who offer in-person services in Boston and Northampton as well as virtual options.

Our practice offers a range of services designed to support adults in cultivating insight, developing skills, and making meaningful, values-driven change. We provide individual, group, and couples therapy using empirically supported treatments tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other relational and insight-oriented approaches. In addition to therapy, we offer parent, career, relationship, and leadership coaching as a distinct, time-limited, present-focused service aimed at building transferable skills in these key areas. All of our services are grounded in a theory- and research-informed framework that honors the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship and takes into account the social, cultural, and systemic factors that impact mental health and well-being.

Why should I choose your practice?

All of our providers at Aviva Psychology Services are psychologists, meaning they have completed and received the highest level of education and training in the field. This doctoral training includes expertise in health psychology, trauma/PTSD, parenting, maternal mental health, and undergraduate and graduate student wellness.

How does payment work at your practice?

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and will be in-network with Aetna on 9/15. We can file directly on behalf of most Cigna clients as out-of-network providers. What are your practice's specialties?

Our practice specializes in helping adults navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity development, and stress related to work, parenting, or leadership roles. We are particularly skilled in integrating insight-oriented and skill-based approaches to address both longstanding patterns and present-moment concerns. Our team has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and relational psychotherapies, allowing us to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. We also specialize in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and examining how cultural, social, and systemic factors influence emotional health.
