Venise specializes in helping those who suffer from eating disorders. Many of her clients are children, teenagers, or young people as well as their parents and families. She also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), teaching clients how to regulate their emotions and how to avoid negative self-talk. She offers faith-based counseling for those who seek to have a faith perspective on their mental health.
