Darin King Counseling is a personalized, telehealth-based group practice serving individuals, couples, and families throughout Pennsylvania. We specialize in providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. Our team of clinicians is dedicated to helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work through life’s challenges.
We understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, which is why we focus on creating a warm, welcoming experience from the very first interaction. Each clinician brings unique strengths and specialties, allowing us to thoughtfully match clients with the provider who best fits their needs.
As a smaller, client-centered practice, we prioritize individualized care over a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or personal growth, we are here to support you with care that is tailored specifically to you.
We provide virtual therapy services across Pennsylvania, including individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy. Our telehealth model allows clients to access high-quality mental health care from the comfort and privacy of their own home, making it easier to stay consistent with treatment.
We support clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Our clinicians utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other integrative techniques.
Our goal is to provide flexible, accessible, and effective care that meets you where you are. Whether you're seeking short-term support or longer-term therapy, we work collaboratively with you to create a plan that aligns with your goals and needs.
Our practice specializes in working with individuals who are navigating trauma, including childhood abuse, complex trauma, and difficult life experiences that continue to impact daily functioning. We also have strong experience supporting clients with anxiety disorders, ADHD, OCD, and challenges related to family dynamics and relationships.
Many of our clinicians are trained in trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allow us to help clients process deeper emotional experiences while building resilience and self-understanding.
We also work with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you're dealing with intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, or patterns rooted in past experiences, we focus on helping you gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
At Darin King Counseling, we believe that therapy should feel personal, not transactional. As a smaller group practice, we are able to provide a level of attention and care that larger organizations often cannot. We take the time to truly listen, understand your unique story, and tailor treatment to fit your specific needs.
Clients often share that they feel genuinely supported and not judged when working with our team. We prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships because we know that trust and connection are essential for meaningful progress.
We also focus on matching clients with the right clinician, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and confident in the work you’re doing. When you choose our practice, you’re choosing a team that is invested in your growth and well-being.
We strive to make the financial aspect of therapy as simple and transparent as possible. Darin King Counseling accepts a variety of major insurance plans, and our team is happy to help verify your benefits before your first session so you know what to expect.
For clients who prefer or require self-pay, we offer straightforward private pay options depending on the provider and service. We also handle claims submission for in-network insurance plans, helping reduce the administrative burden on you.
Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible so you can focus on your mental health. If you have questions about coverage, fees, or payment options, our team is here to guide you through the process and help you find the best fit for your situation.
