For Us Therapeutics was founded by two DC native brothers with a shared mission: closing the mental health gap in the Black and African American community across the Washington Metropolitan area.
We built this practice because representation matters. There are not enough Black mental health professionals serving Black communities, and we are committed to changing that. Our clinicians come from this community, understand this community, and are here specifically for this community.
We provide culturally affirming therapy for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents across DC and Maryland, accepting all major insurance plans.

What services does your practice offer?
For Us Therapeutics is a full-service therapy group practice. We offer individual, couples, family, adolescent/teenager, and group therapy sessions.
What are your practice's specialties?
For Us Therapeutics specializes in culturally affirming care across a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, racial and generational trauma, identity issues, emotional regulation, relationship and couples concerns, family conflict, and life transitions.
We have particular expertise serving Black and African American adults, couples, and families navigating the unique pressures of living and thriving in today's world.
How does payment work at your practice?
At For Us Therapeutics we accept insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health, Cigna, and Aetna. If you do not have one of these insurance providers or wish to pay out of pocket, our fees range between $100-$110 a session. We will be happy to submit claims to your insurance on your behalf and make payment processing simple, easy, and quick.
