Practice Information

Have you spent years feeling out of sync with the world around you? Like you’re trying to navigate systems that weren’t designed with you in mind?

Many of the people we work with are navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, or past experiences that have led them to mask, push through, or question why things feel more difficult than they seem for others.

We believe meaningful therapy starts with feeling truly understood. Our team takes a collaborative, compassionate approach that respects each person’s unique wiring, strengths, and lived experiences.

We often support individuals who are coming to understand, sometimes later in life, that ADHD or Autism has been part of their story all along. We’re especially attuned to how these experiences can show up differently in women and girls, which can lead to delayed identification.

Some members of our team identify as neurodivergent themselves, bringing both lived experience and clinical perspective to their work.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Guiding Light Counseling is a group therapy practice with ten therapists.

We support children, teens, and adults, and offer in-person, virtual, and hybrid options to meet your needs.

Our in person office is in Pembroke, MA. Some of our providers are also licensed in MD and FL.

What are your practice's specialties?

Guiding Light Counseling, as a group, is a neurodivergent affirming and trauma informed practice.

We specialize in:

Neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism, and other diverse ways of thinking and processing

Anxiety in its many forms (such as PTSD, Trauma, Generalized Anxiety, OCD, and more)

Mood-related challenges such as depression

Life transitions and the stress that comes with them

Everyday stressors that feel overwhelming or hard to navigate

Any other challenges that can affect how you experience and move through daily life

How does payment work at your practice?

We are in network with many commercial health insurance plans.

If you have other insurance that has 'out of network' benefits, we submit the claims for you and you don't need to pay money up front; this is very different from the superbill method other out of network providers use.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards as well as cash and checks for payment of copays and deductibles.

Our out of pocket fees are: $200 for an intake, and range from $170 for sessions close to one hour to shorter sessions for $85.

We have sliding scale option for those without insurance that cannot afford the full price fees.
