Finding a therapist who actually gets you — your identity, your community, your life — shouldn't be this hard. At Health Allies Counseling, it doesn't have to be.
We are a team of 30+ therapists in SE Portland built around one core belief: that healing happens faster and goes deeper when you don't have to explain or defend who you are first. We are proudly LGBTQIA2S+ focused, trans-affirming, anti-racist, and progressive — and that's not just language we use on a website. It's the foundation our practice was built on.
Our work is collaborative. We meet you where you are, and we build from there. Whether you're dealing with trauma, navigating your identity, healing from an abusive relationship, managing anxiety or depression, or just trying to survive a world that doesn't always feel safe — we have therapists who specialize in exactly that, and who will bring their full selves to the work alongside you.
We have immediate openings and accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP/Medicaid), Kaiser, Providence, Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, PacificSource, Regence, and most major insurance plans. Sliding scale options are available for those who qualify.
We're available in person at our SE Portland office (2950 SE Stark St, Suite 130) and via telehealth anywhere in Oregon.
