In here, therapy space is created with a person-centered approach. While the therapist provides the space, support, and tools, you are the expert of your own experience and the only person who gets to decide what is the best for you! We also believe in the innate drive of every individual to strive for self-actualization and growth. In other words, you are trying your best at every moment with the resources and environment provided to you! Every client is understood and accepted as a whole person, not a problem to be fixed.
A lot of mental health issues we see often come from a place of trauma. Many things you do in the present are informed by what happened to you and what was learned from the past, sometimes even in way that you don’t notice. We cannot understand mental health issues without considering the complexity and impact of trauma. In order to move forward fully to where you want to be, trauma needs to be healed. Lost and Found Therapy provides a trauma-informed therapy space with deep compassion, care, and connection.
We are living in a world of diversity! Each individual comes from a different cultural background and expresses themselves in different ways. In the meantime, we are also constantly impacted by the social construct and systemic barriers that come with it, creating fear and judgements. The truth is that while every individual is unique in their own way, not everyone is looked at from a proper angle that they deserve. Lost and Found Therapy respects and honors diversity with curiosity and provides an inclusive space for all identities.
We offer child and teen therapy, individual adult therapy, and parent consultations. Sessions are available in-person in Seattle, WA and via Telehealth.
The clinicians at Lost and Found Therapy specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety-related disorders, depression and mood disorders, and trauma and grief. We provide neurodivergent-affirming and gender-affirming care.
Our practice is in-network with Aetna and Premera Blue Cross. We are in the process of credentialing with Regence Blue Shield. Our private pay fees range from $150-$250 depending on the service offered. We can provide a superbill for out-of-network clients.
