Peace Love Wellness Mental Health Counseling is a virtual group psychotherapy practice serving adults across New York City and State. We specialize in trauma-informed care for people who have historically been underserved by traditional mental health systems — including LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC communities, those navigating non-traditional relationships, and anyone who has felt like they didn’t quite fit the mold of “standard” therapy. Our work is grounded in three core principles: Peace, the cultivation of nervous system safety; Love, a commitment to radical compassion; and Wellness, the integration of the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based modalities including somatic therapies, Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and many bring transpersonal and depth-oriented frameworks into their work as well. We believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and our team reflects that — each therapist brings a unique lens while sharing a common commitment to justice-centered, culturally responsive care. Sessions are fully virtual, making high-quality therapy accessible wherever you are.
What sets Peace Love Wellness apart is the integration at the heart of everything we do. We don’t separate the clinical from the spiritual, the psychological from the somatic, or the personal from the political. We hold space for the full complexity of who you are — your history, your identity, your nervous system, and your soul. If you’ve been searching for therapy that doesn’t ask you to leave any part of yourself at the door, you’ve found it.
Peace Love Wellness is a fully virtual, New York City-based group psychotherapy practice serving adults across New York. We offer individual therapy, couples counseling, coaching, and coordination with ketamine therapy providers — meeting you wherever you are in your healing journey.
Our team specializes in trauma-informed, justice-centered care for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities, integrating evidence-based modalities like Internal Family Systems, somatic therapies, and DBT alongside transpersonal and depth-oriented approaches. We believe healing encompasses the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
We are in-network with several major insurance carriers, including Aetna, Carelon, Cigna, Optum, Anthem/Empire BCBS, and Magnacare, making quality care as accessible as possible. Whether you’re processing trauma, navigating identity, or seeking deeper integration, Peace Love Wellness offers a space where all of you is welcome.
Peace Love Wellness specializes in trauma-informed care for people and communities who have been historically underserved by mainstream mental health systems. We have particular expertise working with LGBTQ+ and queer people, BIPOC communities, neurodivergent people, and those in non-traditional relationships or family structures — people who have often been told their experiences are too complex, too niche, or too much.
Our clinicians are experienced in treating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, and identity-related concerns. We also support people navigating burnout, career stress, life transitions, relationship conflict, chronic illness, and fertility and family-building challenges. For adolescents 12 and up, we offer developmentally attuned, affirming care.
Beyond symptom relief, many of our clients come to us for deeper work — healing from religious trauma, exploring transpersonal frameworks, or integrating psychedelic experiences. Wherever you are on your journey, you belong here.
Choosing a therapist is deeply personal — and you deserve a practice that earns that trust. At Peace Love Wellness, you won’t have to explain your identity, justify your experiences, or shrink yourself to fit a clinical mold. We built this practice specifically for people who have felt unseen, misunderstood, or underserved by traditional mental health care.
Our clinicians bring both clinical rigor and genuine humanity to their work, integrating evidence-based treatment with somatic, transpersonal, and depth-oriented approaches tailored to the whole person. We are in-network with major insurance carriers because we believe access to quality care shouldn’t be a privilege. And because we’re fully virtual, support is available wherever life takes you.
What sets us apart isn’t just what we treat — it’s how we show up. With radical compassion, cultural humility, and an unwavering commitment to your healing, we hold space for all of you.
We are in-network with several major insurance carriers — including Aetna, Carelon, Cigna, Optum, Anthem/Empire BCBS, and Magnacare — and we encourage prospective clients to contact us to verify their benefits. For those paying out of pocket, full-rate individual sessions are $250 and couples sessions are $350 for a 45-minute session. We are committed to making care accessible, which is why we also offer sliding scale options starting as low as $75 per session, particularly with our supervised clinicians. Whatever your financial situation, we encourage you to reach out — we will do our best to find a fee that works for you.
