At Perfectly Imperfect Counseling Services, we support women who are exhausted from holding everything together and quietly wondering why it still doesn’t feel like enough. Therapy here is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and step out of patterns that keep you stuck in survival mode.
We specialize in supporting women navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, overfunctioning, and the pressure of being the “strong one” in every room they enter. Our virtual practice is grounded in trauma-informed, body-centered care that helps you move out of overthinking and back into a more grounded relationship with yourself.
Across all of our work, the focus is simple: helping you feel more present, more connected to your emotions, and more at home in your life.
Perfectly Imperfect Counseling Services offers virtual individual therapy, therapist-led group experiences, and immersive half-day and full-day intensives for women located in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Our services are designed to be flexible and supportive of different ways of engaging in the therapeutic process, including traditional talk therapy as well as more embodied options such as sessions on the mat or in outdoor settings when clinically appropriate.
Across all offerings, the focus is on creating space for reflection, emotional regulation, and meaningful change in a way that is accessible, grounded, and tailored to each client’s needs.
Perfectly Imperfect Counseling Services specializes in supporting women experiencing anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, overfunctioning, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and relational stress. Many of our clients are high-achieving and deeply capable, yet feel emotionally exhausted from carrying too much for too long.
We help clients understand the roots of these patterns, including trauma responses, attachment dynamics, and the impact of cultural and family expectations. Our work supports emotional regulation, boundary development, and the ability to respond to life from a more grounded and connected place.
Our approach is trauma-informed and integrates talk therapy with somatic practices and nervous system-focused work to support lasting change at both the cognitive and embodied levels.
What makes our practice different is how we work. We integrate traditional talk therapy with somatic work, IFS, and nervous system-focused approaches, so therapy is not just insight-driven, but experiential and embodied. Jennifer brings a depth of clinical and somatic integration that helps clients understand their internal world in a way that actually shifts long-standing patterns. Daphne brings strong trauma expertise along with a grounded understanding of the cultural, family, and relational systems that shape how women move through the world.
We also offer more than weekly therapy. Our groups and immersive intensives are designed for women who want deeper, focused work in a contained format that accelerates insight and change. These offerings are open to both therapy clients and non-clients.
This is a space where the work is intentional, relational, and tailored, not formulaic or one-size-fits-all.
