Welcome to Scottie Eskelund, LCPC & Associates.
We're a small, heart-centered therapy practice offering virtual care to adults across Illinois. Our mission is to provide a compassionate, affirming space—especially for trans, queer, and neurodivergent folks—to explore who they are and grow into their fullest, most authentic selves.
At the core, we believe therapy should meet you where you are—with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience.
Our team includes three clinicians: Scottie, Cel, and Leigh.
Scottie, the practice founder, is a feminist and existential therapist who helps clients uncover the stories they’ve been told—or tell themselves—and gently reimagine them into narratives that empower rather than limit. Scottie believes the most painful messages are often the ones we internalize, and that healing begins with compassion and self-trust.
Cel is a queer and neurodivergent therapist who creates a nonjudgmental space rooted in narrative therapy. They are passionate about finding ways to incorporate healing beyond the therapy session and into daily routine. Cel enjoys bringing humor, creativity, and curiosity to the therapeutic process. They encourage reflection around how past experiences show up in our current relationships, supporting folks in self-exploration and communication challenges. Therapy with Cel is collaborative, prioritizing what feels authentic to you rather than an idea of what “should” be.
Tai is a neurodivergent, queer, non-binary person who also suffers from chronic illness and visual impairment. Their approach is intentional and curious, blending compassion with clinical insight. They don’t believe in quick labels or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, they aim to help you uncover what’s really going on so you can begin to heal in a way that feels genuine and sustainable.
Whether you're working through anxiety, identity exploration, life transitions, or just looking to feel more grounded, we’re here to walk with you—at your pace, in your way.

Scottie Eskelund, LCPC & Associates offers virtual individual and couples therapy in the state of Illinois. We are based in Chicago.
We specialize in a variety of areas with a focus on serving the trans and queer community. We also specialize in narrative and feminist therapies to offer support to people experiencing challenges with neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, OCD, and life transitions.
Many therapeutic spaces may try to fix people. Scottie Eskelund, LCPC & Associates is all about understanding you, promoting self-compassion and discovering what wellness looks like for you. We are all different people navigating this world, and as such wellness looks different for each of us. This practice will prioritize getting to know you rather than trying to assume what you might need. We lead with curiosity.
