Sharp Psychotherapy offers individual, online (video) therapy to adults in PSYPACT states who are experiencing problems related to anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress. We have general expertise in health psychology, helping people explore the connections between their physical and mental wellbeing to make lasting changes. We specialize in women's mental health and wellbeing, with advanced training and experience working with perinatal and other female reproductive mental health challenges. She centers skills-based learning, warmth, trust, and nonjudgment in every client encounter.
The practice is led by Meghan Sharp, PhD, PMH-C. Dr. Sharp sees individual therapy clients and also supervises advanced clinical psychology students. Gina Erato Garza, PhD is a Clinical Psychology Fellow working under the supervision of Dr. Sharp. She specializes in perinatal mental health and is passionate about helping people in the transition to parenthood. Dr. Erato Garza’s treatment approach primarily uses evidence-based care (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques) to help clients work through challenging thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She centers skills-based learning, warmth, trust, and nonjudgment in every client encounter.

Our therapists have expertise in female reproductive mental health. We specialize in treating mental health concerns related to the perinatal period, including infertility, pregnancy decision making, abortion, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, medically complicated pregnancy and birth, and postpartum. We also have expertise in treating menstrual-related mental health concerns related to pelvic pain, PMDD, and menopause.
Additionally, our therapists are trained in behavioral medicine and are skilled in treating mental health concerns related to physical health problems. We also provide care for medical professionals experiencing vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue.
The therapists at Sharp Psychotherapy are doctorally trained psychologists with extensive training in behavioral medicine and evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques. We strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship and to adapt to the client's individual needs.
Our therapists are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. We can also submit a claim to your insurance company, which may provide you with reimbursement for out-of-network costs.
