Shuzman Therapy offers trauma-informed therapy for individuals (ages 15+), couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns they want to understand and change. We support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship and attachment challenges, and substance use, both for those directly affected and for loved ones impacted by a partner’s or family member’s addiction.
The practice is led by Beth Shuzman, LCSW, with associate clinicians offering lower fee options. Our work is collaborative, relational, and grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Treatment is tailored to each client and may include psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic and body-based methods, Gottman Method couples therapy, and family systems work.
We place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and on creating a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and non-judgmental. Many clients come to us unsure of where to begin; together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward change that feels meaningful and sustainable.
Our associate therapist, Grace Rosarito, offers therapy in both English and Tagalog.
If you’re navigating a difficult transition, living with the impact of past or ongoing experiences, or wanting to better understand yourself and your relationships, we’re here to help you take the next step.
We provide individual therapy for adults and teens (ages 15+), couples therapy, and family therapy. Our areas of focus include trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, substance use, and the impact of addiction on families and partners. We use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches to support insight, emotional healing, and healthier connection.
In addition to English, we also offer therapy in Tagalog for clients seeking care in either language.
We offer virtual individual, couples, and family therapy in a supportive and confidential setting. As a fully remote practice, we provide flexible scheduling while maintaining consistency and depth in treatment.
We take a thoughtful, relational approach to therapy and believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. We work collaboratively and tailor treatment to each client rather than relying on a single method. Depending on your needs, therapy may include insight-oriented work, practical skill-building, or trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR, alongside mindfulness and somatic practices. We also encourage consultation calls as a low-pressure way to ask questions, learn about our approach, and see whether working together feels right.
Fees range from $150–$275 depending on clinician and service. Beth Shuzman’s fee is $275 per session. Associate therapists charge $150 for individual therapy, $175 for couples, and $200 for family sessions. Sliding-scale options are available based on financial need.
