FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Soho Psychotherapy is a boutique group practice located in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. We offer individual, group, and supportive therapy for significant others.

We are currently accepting clients in-person in our Soho office and via telehealth in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida.

What are your practice's specialties?

Soho Psychotherapy is an experiential therapy practice. Our therapists engage in warm, attuned, relational talk therapy as well as experiential modalities such as Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) among many others. Please check out the website for descriptions of some of the other modalities we use.

Why should I choose your practice?

Soho Psychotherapy is unique in that all of our providers use evidence-based treatment through a trauma informed lens to treat those who struggle across the trauma spectrum. All of our therapists have the advanced skills needed to treat severe and “capital T” trauma, but we are equally passionate about bringing compassionate care to clients who may not meet official criteria for the textbook version of PTSD, but struggle with anxiety or panic nonetheless.

We offer individual therapy for adults over 18 years, and specialize working with young professionals and recent college graduates, PTSD and C-PTSD, addiction & substance abuse, dysfunctional families, and relationship challenges. All of our clinicians have engaged in in-depth training in each of the modalities they specialize in, undergoing many hours of training, consultation, supervision, and practice.

How does payment work at your practice?

Soho Psychotherapy is out-of-network, as are most private practices in New York City. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may receive reimbursement from your insurance provider after paying the full fee directly to the practice. You will be provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider with all the necessary documentation. Before scheduling a session, you are encouraged to contact your provider to confirm your deductible and reimbursement rates.
