Professional statement

Dr. Erica Lee (she/her) is a board certified psychiatrist. She received her MD from Brown University in Providence, RI and completed her adult psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, MA. She is currently seeing children, adolescents, and adults for individual and family sessions. She specializes in work with teenagers and young adults in competitive school or work environments and caring for healthcare workers.

Dr. Lee is an integrative psychiatrist and psychotherapist who enjoys helping people navigate life transitions, relational trauma, and identity issues. She enjoys working with patients with a diverse range of identities and abilities, including children of immigrant parents. She often helps patients navigate their busy lives while coping with the symptoms of mood disorders, anxiety and panic, trauma, and ADHD. She has undergone intensive training in multiple modalities of psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and lifestyle interventions. Dr. Lee offers patients combined treatment sessions to avoid having to go to separate professionals for different parts of their mental health care. She currently has availability for in person and virtual appointments on weekday evenings and some limited availability on weekends.

Message to clients

You have worked hard to make it to this school or job, and yet, sometimes you may feel overwhelmed or numb. You may wonder why it is difficult for you to find a sense of peace. It can help to collaborate with a warm, nonjudgmental professional who will listen to your experiences in a space that allows you to be your full self.

I specialize in working with busy students, healthcare workers, young professionals, and their families to create the long lasting fulfillment with their lives that they truly deserve. I am a psychotherapist at heart and strive to create a supportive, collaborative relationship with my patients. I carefully consider each of my patient's identities, mind-body connections, relationships, and communities that shape who they are and who they want to become. I utilize my medical expertise to suggest medications when I believe that they can augment psychotherapy and lifestyle interventions without pushing medication as the only solution.

I look forward to hearing from you.
