Hi, I’m Dr. Jane Persaud, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in both clinical and school psychology. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, helping them navigate a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, emotional dysregulation, executive functioning challenges, OCD, and trauma-related issues.
I take a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I place great importance on building a strong therapeutic alliance and working closely with clients to develop practical skills that enhance emotional well-being. I am especially passionate about working with diverse populations and always bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work, recognizing how identity and background shape mental health.
During my doctoral training at the University of Tennessee, I specialized in cognitive behavioral interventions and gained additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor each treatment plan to the unique goals, values, and needs of my clients, integrating evidence-based practices that foster lasting growth and resilience.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’m here to help you build self-awareness, develop self-compassion, and move toward meaningful change. If you are ready to start this journey, I would love to support you!
