Hi! I’m Emily, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation. My goal is to help clients foster resilience and find greater balance and fulfillment in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and integrative. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational therapy, play therapy, and Exposure Response Therapy. I also draw from a multicultural framework, ensuring that aspects of culture, race, gender, and sexuality are thoughtfully considered and respected in our work together.
I’ve worked in diverse clinical settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and residential treatment programs, which has allowed me to support clients from many walks of life.
