Professional statement

Abi works with adults and older teens who may appear capable and successful on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected. Many of her clients are high‑functioning women navigating burnout, midlife transitions, relationship stress, chronic illness, and long‑standing patterns shaped by family dynamics. Clients often come to Abi when they’re tired of “holding it all together” and want a deeper, more compassionate understanding of themselves alongside real change.

Abi’s therapeutic approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, with a strong depth-oriented lens. She helps clients explore the underlying roots of emotional distress, such as attachment patterns, nervous system responses, and internalized beliefs, while also focusing on practical, meaningful shifts in daily life. Therapy with Abi is both supportive and gently challenging, offering a space where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, Abi offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) when clinically appropriate. She provides thoughtful preparation and integration support to help clients safely explore this modality and translate insights into lasting emotional and psychological growth. Her work is informed by ongoing training and a commitment to ethical, client-centered care.

Abi provides in-person therapy in Aurora, Illinois, and also offers telehealth sessions for clients located in states where she is licensed. Remote sessions are conducted via a secure platform, allowing for flexible access to care while maintaining a strong therapeutic connection.

Message to clients

Reaching out for therapy can be difficult, especially when you’re used to being the one who manages everything for everyone else. Many of my clients are capable, thoughtful people who appear fine on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.

I offer a warm, grounded, and depth-oriented space where we can understand what’s keeping you stuck and create meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and compassionate.

Whether you’re seeking support for burnout, trauma, relationships, life transitions, or ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
