Professional statement

Alejandra is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist CA AMFT # 150594, supervised by Kate M. Grogan, CA LMFT #94190. She believes the foundation of meaningful therapy is a strong, trusting relationship. When clients feel safe, seen, and supported, real change becomes possible.

Alejandra works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping clients strengthen their sense of self, navigate relationships, and create lasting personal growth. She supports people in building self-esteem and developing healthy patterns that align with their values. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy—offering a space where clients can explore without judgment.

In addition to her work with individuals, Alejandra also supports couples navigating conflict, communication challenges, and major life transitions. She helps partners understand one another more deeply, strengthen their bond, and create healthier relationship patterns

With experience in community mental health, Alejandra supports individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, and challenges with emotional regulation and stress. Across all her work, she returns to the same truth: meaningful healing begins when safety and trust are present in the therapist–client relationship, allowing clients to reconnect with their authenticity.

Alejandra is based in West Los Angeles and offers sessions both in person and via telehealth.

Message to clients

Finding the right therapist matters. I know that might sound like something you’ve heard before—but it’s true. To foster healing and growth, it's important to feel supported and able to show up as your authentic self. My goal is to create that space for you—a space where you don’t have to filter or shrink yourself.

I see every client as a unique individual, with their own story, struggles, and strengths. At the same time, I want you to know you’re not alone. It’s okay to feel stuck, hurt, or uncertain. In session, I bring both empathy and honesty. I’ll meet you where you are, listen deeply, and help you reconnect with your voice and your inner resilience. I also work with couples, creating a space where both partners feel heard and supported as they navigate challenges and strengthen their connection.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you feel more like you. And I’ll be here to walk alongside you as that process unfolds.
