Professional statement

Alison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania, offering compassionate and individualized support for a wide range of concerns. Her practice focuses on helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, family dynamics, and life transitions. With a deep commitment to honoring each person's unique journey, Alison approaches her work with empathy, curiosity, and respect for her client's lived experiences.

She provides a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and self-discovery are nurtured. In 2005, Alison graduated with a Masters of Social Services from Bryn Mawr College. Drawing from many years of experience, Alison is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), solution-focused therapy, and several other evidence-based modalities. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, she brings a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to each session.

Alison has over 17 years of experience working with children and families. Alison was a community mental health worker, meeting people in their homes, focused on specialized services. Alison has many years of experience working in the school system as well, collaborating and connecting with many outside agencies and services. Alison has years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum. She also has experience working with LGBTQ youth and their families.

Alison believes therapy is more than just treatment—it is a transformative process. Her sessions are rooted in empowering, problem-solving strategies that foster resilience and personal growth. Within this therapeutic space, healing unfolds, self-understanding deepens, and meaningful change is supported with care and intention.

Alison enjoys the beach, walking in nature, meditating and spending time with her four children.

Message to clients

Before we begin our work together, I want you to know that this space is yours—a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can express anything that’s on your mind. I approach therapy as a collaborative process; we will co-create a space that supports your growth, healing, and goals. My hope is that you’ll feel empowered to explore your thoughts and experiences with honesty and curiosity, knowing that I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth and support.

My work is rooted in a strengths-based and solution-focused approach. I believe that you already have many of the tools and inner resources needed to create meaningful change, and my role is to help you uncover and build on those strengths. Together, we’ll focus on practical strategies for problem solving and personal growth, while also making space to explore deeper patterns or challenges that may be getting in your way.

I see therapy as a partnership where your voice and perspective are central. Whether you're coming in with a clear goal or just a sense that something needs to shift, we’ll tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs. My greatest hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling heard, supported, and more connected to the life you want to create.
