Allison Ciongoli is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her clinical foundation was built in community mental health and dual diagnosis treatment settings, where she supported individuals navigating psychosis, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. These experiences ignited her passion for trauma-informed, integrative care.
Allison understands that wellness is a dynamic and deeply personal journey. She draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed and mindfulness-based practices to meet each client where they are. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, helping individuals manage anxiety, avoid burnout, navigate relationships, and heal from past experiences. She works alongside clients to challenge unhelpful patterns, rediscover inner strengths, and move toward a more authentic and balanced life.
At the core of Allison’s work is the belief that therapy should feel safe, affirming, and grounded in trust. She strives to create a nurturing space where clients feel seen and supported as they explore emotions, face challenges, and create meaningful change. Her presence is warm, empathetic, and attuned, making room for both practical tools and deeper insight.
Outside of her work with clients, Allison values connection, curiosity, and balance. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, cuddling her dog Maple, and seeking new adventures through travel. These experiences fuel her belief in the importance of joy, rest, and relationships, all of which she encourages clients to explore in their own lives.
