Professional statement

I have extensive training in trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship challenges, and related concerns. I work with adults and teens, using evidence-based and integrative approaches.

My ability to connect fluently in English and Spanish deepens my understanding of how language, culture, and identity shape emotions, relationships, and daily experiences.

I view each person as a unique individual and tailor therapy to their specific needs, goals, and strengths. I provide a warm, respectful space of unconditional acceptance where clients feel safe, acknowledged, understood, empowered, and supported throughout their healing process, with compassion, collaboration, curiosity, consistency, and care.

Message to clients

My name is Amaranta, and I am a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Professional Counselor. My goal is to support clients in becoming the best version of themselves by fostering growth, insight, and meaningful change.

I am inclusive, open-minded, and believe therapy is for anyone who is willing to reflect, learn, and evolve.

My clinical approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness practices, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches work together to promote healing, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and long-term resilience.
