Amie Dean, LMFT, CCTP, is a clinically certified trauma professional specializing in depth psychotherapy for highly sensitive, empathic, and neurodivergent women. In session, she focuses on core wound, inner child, and shadow work, helping clients explore the root causes of symptoms so they can transform them for lasting emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Amie supports women navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, panic, PTSD, imposter syndrome, and people-pleasing tendencies. She also guides clients in setting boundaries, achieving work-life balance, navigating life transitions, and healing relationship or attachment concerns. Her work extends to HSPs and empaths, addressing neurodivergent needs such as ADHD, as well as challenges like PMS and PMDD. Through her approach, women learn to release old patterns, quiet self-criticism, and reconnect with their authentic, empowered selves.
Her therapeutic style is intuitive, compassionate, eclectic, and goal-focused, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and mindfulness-based practices, shamanic and creative therapies, Reiki, and nature-based approaches. She also draws on evidence-based modalities, including ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), EMDR, neurofeedback, and biofeedback techniques. As a certified Effortless Mindfulness teacher, she guides clients in non-dual, Buddhist-inspired meditations that expand IFS work, helping them access their Higher Self and cultivate inner spaciousness in everyday life.
Amie is also a bestselling, award-winning author, with her book, Unmask Your Soul: The Sacred Awakening Journey to Heal Core Wounds, released in 2025. Outside of practice, she enjoys meditation, yoga, kayaking, biking, and hiking in the mountains with her husband and two rescue dogs.
