Professional statement

I believe that life is filled with beautiful experiences, but it also presents heartbreaking moments. These difficult times can leave us trapped in unhealthy patterns and overwhelmed with emotions. You may feel unsafe, anxious, depressed, or experience a sense of dread. Perhaps you’ve learned to 'white-knuckle' your way through life just to survive, or you grew up in a dysfunctional family and want to break the cycle of generational trauma. You may also feel unknown and misunderstood.

I have a deep appreciation for working with people from all walks of life. Because of this, my therapeutic approach is tailored to meet your unique needs and help you feel empowered. I am trauma-informed and trained in EMDR. Together, we will embark on a journey to find the tools that will enable you to cope and be present in the moment.

I love bringing elements of creativity and mindfulness into our sessions, as I believe these elements foster growth, self-discovery, and resilience. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment that allows you to explore your feelings, challenge negative beliefs, and heal from the hurts that have impacted your life. You are not alone in this. I am here to support you every step of the way.
