Professional statement

While working with my clients, we can have feelings of being paralyzed by our anxieties that can be challenging in our daily lives. My goal for clients is for them to strive to realize their true authentic selves while gaining skills and insights that will help them navigate their journey into healing. I specialize working with adolescents and adults experiencing Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Phobias, and OCD. I also work with clients struggling with complex family dynamics. Self-exploration, family roles, communication skills, and healing from past wounds can be powerful tools to move forwards for yourself and relationships.

Ashley has experience working with a community health center, a group practice, and her own private practice. She has worked with clients indivually as well in group settings but currently focuses on individual therapy online in her private practice. Ashley has been in the mental health field for over 10 years and has working with many different clients but is now specializing in anxiety disorders.

I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) when appropriate for anxiety/OCD/phobias, and an integrated model of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
