Professional statement

Becky Bostic is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Central Texas who is passionate about helping individuals and couples build healthier, more fulfilling lives. With experience across a range of relational challenges, Becky creates a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. She brings a balanced presence to therapy—casual and fun when the moment calls for it, yet fully capable of sitting with clients in their deepest struggles so they never have to navigate their heaviness alone.

Many of Becky’s clients seek support for relationship concerns that often stem from patterns of miscommunication, unmet needs, or emotional disconnection. She works to help clients uncover and understand the underlying dynamics that influence their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Becky understands that life can be chaotic and often sees busy mothers that work outside the home on their lunch breaks or mothers who cannot get away from their home for in person therapy.

Trained in EMDR therapy, Becky utilizes trauma-informed approaches when needed, providing a safe space to process difficult experiences. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she also guides clients in identifying and reshaping core beliefs that may be limiting their sense of worth, security, or connection, allowing them to build healthier internal narratives and relational patterns.

For those who request it, she offers integrative Christian counseling that blends biblical principles with secular therapeutic insights to support whole-person growth. Whether drawing from faith-based perspectives, psychological frameworks, or both, Becky’s goal is to equip clients with practical tools, deeper insight, and renewed confidence—fostering healing, resilience, and meaningful connection in their everyday lives.

Becky is the Director of Counseling for The Hope Center. She is currently open for new telehealth clients and can be reached by consultation. Please email directly if the current consultation hours do not fit your schedule.

Message to clients

You don’t have to put your life on hold to take care of your mental health. I work with busy people who are carrying a lot and need a space to pause, breathe, and reset in the middle of their day.

If you find yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in your thoughts, you’re not alone. Maybe your mind doesn’t slow down, your relationships feel strained, or you’re used to holding everything together for everyone else. It can be exhausting—and hard to know where to start.

That’s where I come in. I offer a space that feels both grounding and productive. My clients often meet with me during their lunch break or between responsibilities, so we use our time intentionally. You’ll have room to process what’s weighing on you, but you’ll also leave with greater clarity, direction, and tools you can actually use when you step back into your day.

My approach is warm, encouraging, and often includes humor. Therapy with me doesn’t feel stiff or intimidating—it feels like a meaningful pause where you can be yourself, feel understood, and still be gently challenged toward growth.

Reaching out can be the hardest part, but it’s also the first step toward feeling more like yourself again.
