Brett Billings is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in the South Bay of Los Angeles, where she works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the pressures of everyday life. Many of her clients come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, and are looking for a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with themselves and the people around them.
Brett takes a collaborative, relational approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling seen and understood. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness, systems-based work, and a deeper exploration of patterns that shape how clients think, feel, and relate. Her style is warm, down-to-earth, and engaged—balancing practical tools with insight-oriented work to support both immediate relief and long-term growth.
She has a particular interest in working with young athletes and their families, as well as individuals navigating performance pressure, identity development, and high expectations. As a former athlete and a parent raising children in a sports-centered community, Brett brings both personal and professional insight into the unique challenges and opportunities that can come with competitive environments.
Brett views therapy as a process of uncovering the strengths, awareness, and internal resources that already exist within each person. Her role is to support clients in reconnecting with that inner clarity, building resilience, and creating more aligned and fulfilling lives.
She offers in-person sessions in Hermosa Beach and provides telehealth services for clients throughout California, making therapy accessible and adaptable to a range of needs and schedules.
