Professional statement

Briana Seippel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, and feelings of overwhelm or disconnection. She believes therapy is a space to slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, mindfulness, and experiential approaches, Briana helps clients build awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while identifying what truly matters to them. She believes meaningful change comes not from becoming someone different, but from learning how to relate to yourself with greater understanding, intention, and self-compassion.

Briana provides both in-person and telehealth counseling throughout Rhode Island. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are, exploring life's challenges, and moving toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned with who they want to be.

Message to clients

We all have that thing we wish were different. Maybe it’s wanting to be better at what we do, more confident, more creative, or just truly heard. Maybe we wish we knew how to handle situations differently or communicate more effectively. And yet, day after day, we often find ourselves falling into the same patterns, hoping things will somehow change on their own.

It’s only when someone or something opens our eyes to a different way, a new perspective, a fresh approach, that we begin to see what’s really possible. That’s what you’ll find here: guidance, support, and ideas to challenge old habits, explore new paths, and discover ways of being that feel more authentic, more capable, and more you.
