Professional statement

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, sleep difficulties, and relationship or identity stress. My style is approachable and steady, allowing you to feel understood while also gaining the momentum to make meaningful changes. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, utilizing evidence-based strategies designed to help you understand your emotional patterns, build effective coping tools, manage anxiety and mood fluctuations, strengthen interpersonal boundaries, and improve sleep and daily functioning.

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, completed my pre-doctoral internship at NYU/Bellevue Hospital, and my postdoctoral fellowship at NYU Langone Health. Before entering private practice, I was a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Langone, where I provided direct clinical care and trained future clinicians.

I offer both in-person therapy sessions on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and secure telehealth appointments for clients throughout New York, Florida, and Connecticut.

Message to clients

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, disrupted sleep, emotional ups and downs, family stress, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

In our work together, my hope is for therapy to feel like both a supportive place to exhale and a space where you begin building skills that make daily life more manageable. I aim to meet you with warmth, honesty, and steady presence, while helping you develop tools for emotional regulation, clearer thinking, healthier relationships, and greater confidence moving forward.

If you’re considering starting therapy, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation call. We can talk through what you’re looking for in support and explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
