Professional statement

Hi, I’m Caitlyn Marshall. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Therapy with me is a place where you can be honest, challenged, and supported all at once.

I use CBT to help you reframe harmful thought patterns and EMDR to process the deeper experiences that often sit beneath emotional distress. I integrate these tools with a practical, strengths-based approach to promote long-lasting change.

Clients often tell me they appreciate how grounded and approachable therapy feels with me. I take the time to understand your needs and adjust our work accordingly. My goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped to move forward in a way that feels sustainable.

Message to clients

When you begin working with me, the most important thing to know is that you will be met with genuine compassion and respect. I understand how daunting it can feel to take the first step in therapy, especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief are weighing on you. My role is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can share your story openly, without fear of judgment.

Together, we’ll explore what’s underlying your challenges and develop practical strategies tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re ready to engage in deep work or prefer to take things slowly, I will adjust my approach to fit your pace. My goal is to empower you with tools that help manage your symptoms and build resilience for long-term growth. You are not alone in this process and I will support you every step of the way.
