Carolyn works with high-achieving adults who are good at everything... except slowing down, asking for help, and being as kind to themselves as they are to everyone else. Her clients are accomplished, deeply caring, and yet, running on empty. They've often done therapy before and walked away feeling like something was missing. They come to Carolyn when they are ready for an approach that goes deeper than insight alone.
Carolyn's best work lives at the intersection of clinical precision and holistic depth. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-informed nervous system regulation, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Somatic Experiencing (SEP in-progress), EFT Tapping, mindfulness, and shamanic healing. This integrative approach is not offered as a menu of techniques, but as a cohesive alchemy to helping people understand why they function the way they do, what it actually takes to change, and to begin transmuting pain into healthy empowerment and healing. This isn't just symptom management, it's making real contact with yourself and approaching life from that place of deep authenticity.
Carolyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience across eating disorders, adolescent crisis stabilization, attachment trauma, health coaching, and integrative primary care. She is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol through Unyte, trained in EFT Tapping, and is currently deepening her practice through advanced training in integrative somatic trauma therapy, somatic experiencing, and shamanic healing. She has done, and continues to do, her own deep work. Carolyn's drive to continue learning, growing, and expanding -personally and professionally - truly shows in the room.
