Professional statement

Carolyn works with driven, self-aware, adult individuals who are really hard on themselves, feel stuck and overwhelmed, and are ready to for big transformations and deep healing.

Her clients often find themselves cycling through challenging patterns: over-giving, perfectionism, people-pleasing, codependency, avoiding conflict, defensiveness, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, or feeling unseen and disconnected. She supports individuals in resolving anxiety, deeply understanding themselves, building confidence, deepening intimacy, setting healthy boundaries, and cultivating authentic, fulfilling relationships - with others and within themselves.

Her integrative approach combines the precision of evidence-based clinical therapy with the depth of holistic and intuitive healing. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, Polyvagal-informed nervous system regulation strategies (including the SSP), mindfulness, EFT Tapping, evidence-based coaching psychology, and complementary & alternative healing practices, Carolyn works at the intersection of mind, body, and spirit. This process supports the release of old wounds and patterns, fosters a renewed sense of trust in oneself, and creates the inner safety that allows her clients to evolve.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, Carolyn brings expertise and compassion to her work. In session, her easy nature, deep attunement, and orientation towards empowerment and growth support deep transformation - by addressing both the root causes of challenges and the skills needed to sustain lasting change. Her clients cultivate deeper self-awareness, intuition, and develop a more confident, authentic presence in all areas of life.

Carolyn holds advanced training in mind-body therapies and continues to expand her expertise through ongoing study in shamanic healing and complementary treatment approaches. She offers sessions virtually via secure telehealth for clients across Colorado, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Texas.

Her work is designed to help clients not only strengthen connections with others, but also heal and nurture the most important relationship of all - the one they have with themselves.

Message to clients

You’ve built a life many people admire - you're successful, capable, and dependable. On the outside, you seem to navigate the world with confidence. But inside, it’s more complicated. You feel like something isn't right. You're still not where you want to be. You're hard on yourself. Different parts of you want opposite things. You're confused. The things you want feel out of reach. Mostly, you worry that you may never be good enough.

You may over-give until you’re drained, silence your needs to keep the peace, or shut down when things feel too intense. You might feel unseen, alone, misunderstood, or disconnected... even from yourself. You are probably your own worst critic, perfectionistic, or a people-pleaser. And despite all your good intentions, self-awareness, and effort, the same patterns keep showing up.

You are not alone. There’s nothing wrong with you.

These patterns most likely developed to help you adapt to what you've experienced, and they can evolve with the right kind of support.

My approach is warm, grounded, collaborative, trauma-informed, and attachment-sensitive. I blend clinical depth and evidence-based approaches with holistic and intuitive practices to help you reconnect with yourself, learn to regulate, and feel more confident showing up as yourself in all kinds of relationships and life circumstances.

It’s okay to want more ease, inner clarity, genuine confidence, and healthier, more fulfilling connections. If you're ready to explore a different way of relating to yourself and to others, I’d be honored to support you in that journey.
