A Crisis Counselor for FEMA after 9/11 and Hurricane Sandy, I trained at Columbia University and as a forensic social worker I spent 15 years on Rikers Island. I also landed at Bedford Correctional Facility for Women, and eventually they let me out.

I blend Adlerian and Jungian psychology, EMDR, and experiential living and learning. I try to help people decode the symbolic architecture of their identity - working at the intersection of Early Recollections (Adler) and EMDR (Shapiro) - where childhood experiences and trauma meet - and identity reemerges. This is therapy that's symbolic, strategic, and grounded in lived experience.
