Professional statement

Welcome

Starting therapy is a brave and deeply personal decision. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of your next step, you don’t have to navigate it alone. As your therapist, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.

I specialize in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy, which allows us to explore not just what you’re experiencing—but why. By understanding the deeper roots of your emotional challenges, we can work toward lasting and meaningful change.

My Specialties

My clinical focus includes a strong emphasis on women’s mental health, including:

Pregnancy and postpartum adjustment

Parenting and maternal identity

Perimenopause and menopause

Emotional transitions across the reproductive lifespan

In addition, I have a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate parent/child dynamics, particularly:

The emotional complexities of being a parent at any stage

Challenges between adult children and their parents, including boundaries, guilt, unresolved conflict, and grief

With over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, I bring a broad and nuanced perspective to therapy. I understand how our earliest relationships shape our inner world—and how those patterns continue to influence us across life’s many stages.

How I Work

My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in deep empathy. I listen closely, with curiosity and without judgment, and I tailor our work to meet your individual needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or a life transition, therapy with me is a collaborative journey—one that supports healing, self-discovery, and emotional resilience.

Above all, my goal is to help you feel better and build a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Message to clients

Before we begin our work together, I want you to know that therapy is a space where you are encouraged to show up exactly as you are—no need to have it all figured out. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming or even intimidating, and that’s completely normal. My hope is that you feel safe, seen, and heard in our sessions. I will meet you with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment, no matter what you’re carrying.

My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic principles, which means we’ll take time to explore the deeper layers of your experiences—your thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may have developed over time. This process can sometimes feel emotional or uncertain, but it's also where deep and lasting change begins. I will be by your side as we navigate this work together, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe healing happens in connection. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone. My hope for you is that through our work, you gain greater self-understanding, feel more grounded in your identity, and build the tools to live a life that feels more authentic and aligned.
