Professional statement

Many people reach out wanting to work through something in particular in their life. What they often learn is this requires loving and caring for themselves in a new way, and can involve talking about something they've been avoiding. Clients I've worked with are reflective, balance their emotional and logical sides, and are eager to understand their behaviors and patterns. Some struggle with sharing and feeling more deeply, however all are open to trying new things, including new ways of thinking that may help them live and feel better.

I use approaches like ACT, CBT, IFS, Mindfulness based interventions, and the Mind Body connection to help you understand yourself better. I believe through conversation, new frameworks and practical skills you can bring the deeper parts to the surface, and this gives you freedom to choose how you want to move in the world.

I specialize in working with people with ADHD and use these approaches together. Creating time between something happening and your reaction is powerful, and through this you can be empowered to choose different responses to addictions, procrastination, overeating/overspending, or other urges. I believe through this approach it's possible to create new patterns and habits.

I also offer multiple Listening Therapies including Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) and Integrated Listening Systems (ILS). These are Listening Therapies through Unyte, that you can listen to on your own, with my ongoing support. These may be more approachable since it is not a weekly talk therapy commitment. They offer a different approach to rewire the nervous system, so if you have felt stuck in repeated relationship dynamics, in managing ADHD, or in a depressive or anxious place this could be a great place to start.

Message to clients

If you are unsure about therapy, then I appreciate you! With therapy there's likely something you have to gain and something you have to lose. Doing something new can mean confronting longstanding patterns and ways of living. Many people I've met share they didn't start therapy earlier because it feels like they're a failure. When people share this, I am so glad they are because it is incredibly normal to have thoughts like this. Choosing to do something different is a sign of taking care of yourself, and choosing to be more aligned with who you want to become. Being here is a huge step already. The best part is that you can stop anytime, and there will always be no judgment.

I’m available for a 15 minute consultation to see if we’d be a good fit working together. When you reach out please include any experience with therapy you’ve had, what you hope to work on, and some times you are available. I look forward to connecting soon!
