Professional statement

Dr. Daniel Kessler partners with high-performing individuals and couples—particularly professional men—who appear capable and composed but are privately navigating anxiety, insomnia, relational tension, or intimacy and sexual concerns. His clients are often successful, driven, and mentally overloaded. They don’t need another place to vent; they want actionable insight and tools that create meaningful change.

His therapeutic style is calm, direct, and strategically structured. Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience and board certification in Behavioral Sleep Medicine, Dr. Kessler integrates gold-standard approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT-I for insomnia, the Gottman Method for couples, and behavioral sleep medicine protocols. His work is results-driven, helping clients recalibrate their mental clarity, emotional regulation, communication, and self-trust.

Dr. Kessler holds a PsyD from the Florida Institute of Technology and has served in diverse leadership roles—from primary care integration to clinician supervision, university teaching, and public service as a 2022 candidate for Minnesota State Senate. His professional depth reflects a lifelong commitment to grounded expertise, systems thinking, and human insight.

Through Veritas Psychology Partners, Dr. Kessler offers high-touch, boutique psychological care with flexible scheduling, same-day messaging, and nationwide virtual access. Designed for those who think five steps ahead—and want therapy that does the same.

Message to clients

Before we begin, here’s what I want you to know: therapy with me is structured, collaborative, and focused on creating real movement in your life—not just insight. I work best with individuals and couples who are ready to take a clear-eyed look at what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift. That might mean improving your sleep, navigating high-stakes relationship dynamics, or learning to quiet the mental noise that’s been running in the background for far too long.

My hope for you is not just relief—but clarity, confidence, and lasting change. I’ll bring a direct, compassionate approach grounded in years of clinical experience and evidence-based strategies. You’ll bring your goals, your questions, and your willingness to engage in something more purposeful than just talk. Together, we’ll define what success looks like—and build toward it, session by session.

If you're feeling stuck, burned out, or simply ready to recalibrate, you’re in the right place. I look forward to partnering with you.
