Professional statement

Daniel works with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, and the everyday challenges that can make life feel overwhelming or difficult to manage. Many of his clients feel stuck, burned out, or frustrated with themselves—especially when they know what they want to do, but struggle to follow through. He often supports individuals who are overthinking, procrastinating, juggling responsibilities, or feeling like they are constantly falling behind. Daniel also works with clients navigating relationship stress, boundary-setting, and the lingering impact of growing up in critical or emotionally challenging environments.

Daniel’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding how exhausting it can be to live with constant mental pressure or self-doubt. He integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and attachment-based work to help clients understand why they feel and behave the way they do, while also focusing on how to make meaningful, realistic changes. Sessions are not just about talking—they are about building practical tools that clients can actually use in their daily lives. Daniel balances validation with gentle challenge, helping clients feel supported while also creating forward momentum.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and emotional regulation difficulties. He has supported clients in improving executive functioning, reducing self-criticism, and developing healthier relationships with themselves and others. He understands that many struggles are not due to a lack of effort, but patterns that can shift with the right support.

Daniel offers fully remote telehealth sessions, providing flexible and accessible care for clients across New York. His goal is to create a consistent, supportive space where clients feel understood, less alone, and more capable of navigating their lives with clarity and confidence.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. You don’t need the “right” words, a clear story, or even a specific goal—just a willingness to show up as you are. My role is to meet you there. I approach therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences, patterns, and emotions, while also building practical tools that you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

I believe that change happens through both insight and action. We’ll spend time exploring the deeper roots of what you’re going through—your relationships, past experiences, and internal narratives—while also focusing on helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and more confident in real-world situations. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and not judged, but also gently challenged when needed. Growth can be uncomfortable at times, and I’ll be there to support you through that process.

My hope for you is that therapy becomes a place where you can reconnect with yourself, develop clarity, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are. You don’t have to navigate things alone anymore—we’ll take it one step at a time, together.
