Professional statement

Diane Hough, LMFT, is a seasoned psychotherapist with 28 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through meaningful personal transformation. She specializes in working primarily with millennial women who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and a longing for deeper connection—with themselves and others. She also enjoys working with men, all adults and seniors and couples as well.

Diane offers a warm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence. Her approach is integrative and holistic, blending psychodynamic therapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic awareness, attachment work, and spiritual inquiry for those who are open to it. Clients often come to her feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt, people-pleasing, or anxious attachment—and leave feeling more centered, self-aware, and empowered.

Diane creates a safe and supportive space where clients can slow down, explore what’s underneath the surface, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Her style is relational, intuitive, and collaborative, gently guiding clients toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom.

Message to clients

Hi, I’m Diane. I know how hard it can be to reach out for support—especially when you’ve been holding it all together for so long. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck in a relationship pattern, or simply worn down by the pressure to always “be okay,” I want you to know: you don’t have to do this alone.

I’ve been a therapist for nearly three decades, and what I’ve learned is that healing happens in safe, attuned connection. My role is to walk beside you as you begin to untangle old stories, soften inner criticism, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been hidden, dismissed, or forgotten. I offer a space where you can show up just as you are—no fixing, no judgment, just space to breathe, feel, and begin to trust yourself again.

I work holistically, integrating deep listening with tools like IFS (Internal Family Systems), somatic awareness, attachment work, and spiritual or intuitive inquiry—if that’s something you’re open to. I believe we each carry an innate wisdom that gets buried under stress, trauma, or outdated beliefs. Our work together is about clearing the way back to that wholeness.

If you’re longing for a more grounded, authentic, and connected version of yourself, I’d be honored to support you.
