Elisa Orme is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dually licensed in Maine and Texas. * She offers in-person and telehealth sessions at her Portland location to adults for a wide range of psychological concerns including depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, issues of self, and processing and adapting to trauma.

Elisa believes first and foremost in building a trusting relationship between practitioner and client and brings a natural warmth and empathic presence to her work. She will draw upon different approaches and modalities to find interventions that best support the client with the changes they are seeking to make. These therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Elisa works with clients to gain insight into behaviors and patterns and in bringing actions and values into closer alignment.
